THERATIVE ANNOUNCES NEW CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER

Personal Health Industry Veteran, Rob Marandino, Joins the Health & Beauty-based Company

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (April 29, 2008) - Therative, the leading company behind the development of medical products and solutions for consumers, and creators of the FDA-cleared acne treatment device, ThermaClear, announced today that it has appointed Rob Marandino as the company’s Chief Marketing Officer.

“Rob brings a wealth of experience to Therative from his successes in the health and fitness industry,” said Peter Scocimara, CEO of Therative. “We look forward to applying Rob’s deep experience in health and beauty marketing as we continue to build upon the momentum in both the ThermaClear and Therative brands.”

With over twenty years experience building and growing personal health brands, Marandino will oversee Therative’s marketing, advertising and PR efforts as Chief Marketing Officer. He will also manage the company’s growing online retail partners.

Previously, Marandino served as chief marketing officer for TRIMSPA and most recently fig., where he managed a variety of projects ranging from branding and positioning efforts to developing and implementing PR and advertising campaigns. Prior to these positions, Marandino served as Chief Marketing Officer for GoodTimes Entertainment, where he ran the $150 million direct response division and worked on health and fitness product and video offerings. Before joining GoodTimes, he served as Vice President of international marketing at Weider International.
